Directions to various birding spots in the Panton area of Dead Creek are in 
Birdwatching in Vermont (pages 63-65). Otherwise, from Panton "Village" 
(page 38 in the VT Gazeteer) drive due south for about 2.6 miles on Jersey 
Street (go straight when the main road bends right) to the Farrell Access 
road on the left through farm fields. (I think there's a sign.) Drive the 
access road until it ends. Note that the shorebirds on Thursday were out 
some distance to the north. Scopes are, of course, mandatory.
