I saw a peregrine falcon in Long Marsh Bay this morning. This was the
last check for waterfowl banding. Wood Ducks and Mallards and some Black
Ducks are increasing in abundance. A few Great Blue Herons can be seen in
the river and shoreline areas. Serveral Ospreys have been lingering in
the area usually perching on sign posts around the marsh.
