Took advantage of a warm, sunny late afternoon to survey an unmowed
goldenrod-aster field on the Hanover 2 block from 4-5 pm. No southern
vagrants found in the strong south wind, though one fast-flying, brownish
lep slightly smaller than a ringlet was perplexing. Only a very brief
look, not all definitive, and it may well have been a moth....
