Did I say Cera F?  No.  But I'd still use a flourinated wax on race
day and make sure your kid knows it.  Even at 8 years old athletics is
still a mental game (though, obviously, not to quite the same degree
as more developed athletes) and if they think there Dad is putting
some super hot stuff on their skis, it is a nice boost.  And, kids
love it when you show enthusiasm (not the dreaded Little League kind)
for what they enjoy.
