    RECREATIONAL FORECAST

   National Weather Service Burlington VT
   200 AM EDT Sun Sep 4 2005

   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast 

   Today: North Winds 10 to 15 knots. Waves around 1 foot. 
   Tonight: Light north winds. Waves nearly calm. 
   Monday: North Winds 5 to 10 knots. Waves around 1 foot.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock is 95.78
   feet, and the water temperature is 70 degrees.

   The higher summits forecast for Vermont and Northern New York:

   Today: Mostly sunny. Highs 55 to 60. Northwest winds 10 to 20 mph. 
   Monday: Mostly sunny. Highs around 60. North Winds 5 to 15 mph.
