The Lake Champlain open waters forecast
Today: South Winds around 10 knots. Waves 1 foot.
Tonight: South Winds 5 to 10 knots. Waves around 1 foot. A slight
chance of showers after midnight. Visibility unrestricted.
Thursday: Southwest winds 10 to 20 knots becoming northwest 10 to 20
knots by evening. Waves 1 to 2 feet. A chance of afternoon and evening
showers reducing visibility to 5 miles at times.
The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 95.75
feet, and the water temperature was 69 degrees.
The higher summits forecast for Vermont and Northern New York:
Today: Mostly sunny. Highs around 70. Southwest winds 10 to 20 mph.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers. Highs in the lower
to mid 60S. West Winds 20 to 30 mph.
