It's not for the tech to explain to the ordering doc that the patient needs anticoagulating--in fact, it's illegal, and possibly marginally illegal for the tech to make the call at all (though we certainly do). The tech's job is to give the preliminary result of the exam. It's not always possible to steer the ordering doc in what the tech might consider to be the right direction. So come on yourself.

i thought all dvt were called in and EXPLAINED to the ordrering the doc wether they were in the deep systen or not. this is not a SURPRISE that they have to be explained they need to be anticoagulated. this shows responsiblity on the tech!!!!!!!!!!!! come on now.
