Ahhhhh......what a loss. Although I was never really close to Gene, I've
known him for many, many years in differing capacities. In the late
eighties, I helped represent his products, and in the 90's to present time,
Gene has been both a supplier to us and a competitor at the same time. The
one thing that remained constant was Gene's intelligent and caring nature.
In this time of greed, bitterness, and ineptitude, I feel honored to have
known what many people will never know: a true gentleman - dignified,
capable and humble.
That the world contains so few such men, makes it harder to bear.
