till now I am using quartz combusting tubes for my CE Elemental Analyzer,
but I am considering to use ceramic combustion/reduction tubes. Sometimes
the quartz tubes tend to get little cracks and thus start to leak, which
should not be the case with ceramic tubes.
Are there also disadvantages considering using the ceramic tubes? I assume
ceramic tubes will last much longer and are more resistent to "agressive"
samples. As they are not transparent you can't see how the Cu is doing of
I would like to know your experiences with ceramic tubes, and maybe you
know where I can buy them.
Thanks and best regards,
