I think Echo Woods was blowdown. When they widened the trail under the
uphill run of upper South Fridge, they created an eco-disaster.

Personally, I'd like to see Kmart plant trees down the middle of Double
Fiddle, Dipper, & Ovation and turn them into two trails. Put a snow fence
on either side of the trees. I still miss the good ol' days when Downdraft
was some of the best glade skiing in the East.

The back side of Killington down to Wheelerville Road is starting to suffer
from overzealous pruning. At this rate, it'll be a windswept wasteland in
another 10 years.
