Lake Wind advisory in effect today and tonight
Today: Northwest winds 25 to 35 knots with gusts to 50 knots. waves 3
to 6 feet. A chance of showers through early afternoon, then showers
likely late. Visibility reduced to 5 miles at times.
Tonight: Northwest winds 25 to 35 knots with gusts to 40 knots. waves
2 to 5 feet. A chance of showers with visibility reduced to 5 miles at
times.
Monday: West Winds 15 to 25 knots. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock is 95.84
feet, and the water temperature is 57 degrees.
The higher summits forecast for Vermont and Northern New York:
Today: Summits obscured in clouds. Rain showers likely, then rain or
snow showers likely after midnight. Highs around 40. Northwest winds
40 to 50 mph.
Monday: Summits obscured in clouds. A chance of rain or snow showers
in the morning. Highs in the upper 30S. Northwest winds 35 to 45 mph.
