In the discussion of SharePoint, it should be noted that there are two 
products called "SharePoint": Windows SharePoint Services and Microsoft 
SharePoint Portal Server. Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) is a free 
download for Windows Server 2003 and is used for file sharing, group 
collaboration on documents and creating an intranet. MS SharePoint Portal 
Server builds on WSS and extends the functionality to allow teams to 
create portals to focus the user on relevent information. For more
