Sue, I too saw the GBH fishing on what used to be
called Woods Pond, Tuesday morning. On our return
from Rutland a couple of hours later it was up at the
north end of the pond, where there is a little open
water. Only spotted 'cos I wasn't driving! Three
ravens earlier, at home, quite raucous. And the RB
Nuthatch now a daily visitor, as is the male Cardinal
who no longer attacks the window - those plastic
streamers really work.

Shelagh Smith in Leicester.
