Incidental to a trip to Monkton today I noticed the following birds:
 
1)  Red-tailed Hawk perched on the Monkton Central School Sign along  the 
Monkton Road.
2)  Rough-legged Hawk in a field adjacent to Parks-Hurlburt Road,  Monkton.
3)  Northern Shrike in a tree adjacent to Parks-Hurlburt Road,  Monkton.
