We have a couple of groups that visit almost daily. One group of 4-5 males
and another mixed group of around 15. They devour the black oil sunflower
seed we put out. My one suggestion if you do put out feed, is to put it in
an area you don't mind being torn up, because they do an awful lot of
scratching! Come spring (or the warm spells) it will be a muddy mess!
Today a couple of younger ones were chasing another small one all throughout
the big group. In and out, and all around, it was really strange. It even
provoked two of the bigger males to puff themselves up and fan out their
tails as if it was springtime. We never did figure out what was going on.

I just had 7 turkeys walk under my feeders right next to my deck. One jumped
up into a crab apple tree and ate the old apples. What is a good food to put
out for them?
