An update from Ted on the Greater White-fronted Goose at Shelburne Bay:
The bird was around this morning, then led a large procession of Canada
Geese out of the Bay a little later than noon, southbound, and disappeared
out of sight. Also notable was a hybrid Greater White-fronted Goose
(presumably a cross with Canada Goose) that was present all morning but
appears to have left as well.
The water froze up quite a bit overnight, with not much open water left at
the southeastern part of the Bay.
