The Green Mountain Audubon Society is sponsoring a program on Wednesday
evening, Feb. 8, at 7 PM entitled "Bobolinks and Savannah Sparrows of the
Champlain Valley". Noah Perlut, a graduate student at UVM, will present some of his
research evaluating the decline in the populations of grassland birds and
possible strategies to stabilize these populations. The program will be held at
the Dorothy Alling Memorial Library in Williston and is free and open to the
public. Pre-registration is not necessary. However space is limited, so plan
to arrive early. For more information, please call 878-4132.
