trip, even if only a short visit. Here are the species in order (from

I believe the bird you are referring to is the Purple Sandpiper - check
out the slight purple hues on its back.
Birding today with Ted Murin we saw (if I recall correctly) roughly 900
Bohemian Waxwings and about 300 Cedar Waxwings feasting on berries around
the South Burlington area. First time I've ever seen a Bohemian Waxwing,
they are fantastic!
