Most of you have mentioned patients' misquotes. Shortly after opening the
Cardiovascular Lab in a small hospital in a small NC town. We had a pt
positive for DVT. We called the office. Dr is with a pt., we were asked to
leave a message. "Dr's pt Mr. ___ has a DVT in the CFV to the PT's." The
reply "OK got that, um, could you spell DVT !!!!!

Or another favorite - we need a care-o-tid of the legs please!!!
