Hi,
We have three ATL HDI 5000 machines in our hospital vascular lab. We tried a new GE Log 7 - but none of the 5 sonographers could get the hang of it and three of five have been scanning for more than 20 years - so we've used plenty of machines in our time. Plus we all preferred the ATL images for vascular. Thus it gathered dust. So after a year, the department sent the GE to general ultrasound - they ( seven sonographers) didn't use it either and ended up trading it for a new Acuson. We have PACS and ATL works fine with it. We are interested in upgrading since our machines are rather old - as well as adding a small portable - so this thread is helpful to us, too. Thanks all.
Hope this helps.
