Hi Tom,
We use Sharpie king size markers with a chisel tip. We get 12 black
markers/box (about $12/box). The product number on the box is 15001.
These will write through the gel and they last for long while. We tend
to take out a couple at a time and rotate their use during the mapping.
The only draw back is they get messy. We use a sandwich baggie (300
for $1.99 at our local grocery store) to make a cover to protect the
transducer.

Can someone give me a preferred brand/type of marker for vein mapping
(if any)? I've always had pretty good luck with the Sharpie permanent.
Thanks,
