Am just back from 2 weeks in the Southwest, 137 species with 14 life birds including the Yellow Grosbeak in Albuquerque that has people from far and wide coming for a look. The Elegant Trogon was hanging out at Patagonia State Park, posing for the birders and photographers.
I'm enjoying the Redwinged Blackbirds and Robins here at home, as well as the Redpolls still around. I just returned from Schoolhouse Market to find that Snowy's last sighting was Saturday, March 11, although he may have been in the neighborhood until March 13.
This morning we spotted three moose sauntering down the slope and into the woods next door. Spring is here!
