It sounds like you want digest mode?  If so, you can enable that 
yourself.  GO to http://list.uvm.edu/, and click on "Other functions" 
from the main page, and then click on "Subscriber's Corner".  You will 
be presented with a list of lists that you are subscribed to (you'll 
need to login with your listserv username and password if you don't have 
a login cookie saved from a previous session).

Click on "BLOGGING" list, and you'll see all the options for the list, 
including Digest modes (various format options).  There's also the 
ability to unsubscribe "Leave BLOGGING" there.

If you'd rather do this through email, you can send email to 
[log in to unmask] with the body

"set blogging digest nohtml mime"

to change to digest format, or

"set blogging digest html mime"

for html formatted digests, or

"unsubscribe blogging"

to unsubscribe.
