Please excuse the late posting!
Pine Warbler heard on Friday, (2006-04-14), and then viewed on Saturday and
Sunday. Also on Saturday, the dwindling group of 2 Pine Siskins at the
feeder swelled to 9 for no apparent reason! The males with their bright yellow
wing bars were quite striking. Dark-eyed Juncos, some 5-10, still frequenting
the feeding area.
On a trip to the Transfer Station on Saturday, among the many singing Song
Sparrows, the melancholy trill of a solitary Savannah Sparrow could be heard.
Speaking the same language.
