When I was in Burlington yesterday, I got some very nice pictures of
a pair of Mallards-- nothing exciting, but still nice pictures.
Today in Westminster, I got pictures of a nuthatch, a goldfinch, a
hairy woodpecker a ruby-throated hummingbird, and grackle (with a bug
in its mouth). I also saw the oriole bopping around one of the trees
and numerous other songbirds as well as grackles, starlings and
red-winged blackbirds. All the pictures are up at
http://juliesmagiclightshow.com/ but I'm especially pleased with this
one:

It's of a white-breasted nuthatch, flying around the feeder: you
can't see the bird well but you can get a great idea of the wing
pattern from the exposure.

That's what she told the police when she handed them the empty revolver.
