The excitement continues at Kent Pond today.
While the red phalaropes were not in sight this
afternoon, a red-necked grebe in breeding plumage
was present and was still there as of 3:15.
Also, a greater yellowlegs was present as well as
two common loons who were having a knock-down,
drag-out fight the entire two hours were were
there. Fists were flying!
