I regret I am not too familiar with Shelburne Pond and yesterday was my
first visit there, shame on me! My observations were made from the parking area
at the fishing access. I had excellent views of the night-herons and the
eagle also the patrolling terns. I did not explore the trail into the woods but
that too may be productive. A scope would be useful and a chair to sit
while observing the activity in the cattails immediately ahead.
