I've been out working in my garden this morning and watching a pair of 
Tree Swallows building a nest on one of our boxes.  It is fascinating to 
watch them haul the mandatory white feathers throught the hole.  I have 
often wondered  the significance of the 'white' feather.  And also 
marveled at they ability to locate the white feathers.
