Hi all-- I'm Julie Waters in Westminster, VT. I just joined this
list. I'm an amateur photographer and musician. I'm also a web
designer, so I keep an archive of a lot of my photographs on the web,
referenced below. I do contract work for the state of Vermont which
takes me all over the state, and I've gotten into the habit of just
stopping off places to look for birds to photograph when I have the
chance. I met some of you yesterday at morning bird walk at
Herrick's Cove, but I don't know any names except one or two, so hi
to those of you who were there.
I'm still fairly new to birding, but I think I've got these right (I
had help). If you go to http://juliesmagiclightshow.com/, the first
ten pictures are from yesterday's morning bird walk at Herricks Cove.
I didn't get any good pictures of the gnatcatcher, and I didn't try
with the yellow warbler, as I'd already done some great pictures of
those from the week before at Parker River. The prizes of this
group are, of course, the American Bittern pictures. We also saw a
pair of green herons and a pair of glossy ibises, but I didn't get
good pictures of either. These pictures are of a bittern, a
yellow-throated vireo and a least flycatcher.

That's what she told the police when she handed them the empty revolver.
