A great afternoon behind the Underhill Rod and Gun Club. The weather was
perfect and birds of all kinds were out and about. The more interesting
species included Black-throated Green Warblers (7), Great Crested
Flycatchers (3), Blue-headed Vireos (5), Broad-winged Hawk, Osprey, Wilson's
Snipe, Spotted Sandpipers (2), and a Nashville Warbler. The warblers and
vireos were both seen and heard, the flycatchers were noisy in the woods,
and the sandpipers were feeding there way up a rocky stream.
