The SIERRA CLUB and the Fairbanks Museum and Planetarium in St. Johnsbury,
VT are co-sponsoring a series of documentary films on the environment. The
film series is FREE and Open to the Public. Screenings are scheduled to
begin at 2:30 pm at the Fairbanks Museum & Planetarium, 1302 Main Street,

The first film in the series is "OIL ON ICE", scheduled for Sunday, June
18th. This award-winning documentary features some stunning images of
Alaska's Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and proposals to drill for oil

"Birdsong and Coffee" (July 9) Bird migration and "Fair Trade" family coffee
production in Central America.
"The Future of Food" (July 23) Genetically Modified Organisms and food
"Kilowatt Ours" (August 6) Sustainable personal energy consumption.
"Thirst" (August 20) Ground water as a public trust resource.
