We switched to a fiscal year also to coincide with the school and I would
never change back! We did it on an 18 month budget with lots of advice from
our auditor. We have four quarterly payments a year for taxes and it works
very well. The money is coming in much better than when we had a 12/1 only
tax payment. Very rarely do I have to borrow money at the beginning of the
fiscal year.
