Hi Ulla, Yes, Kathy DeWolfe replied directly to me with the following:

"You cannot reject an application to the checklist ONLY because a person 
claimed non residency on the homestead for property tax purposes at the 
present time...." and for me to call and discuss this. She also said it 
would be a good issue to take up with the legislature.

I'll keep you posted. How'd you like the letter that came in the mail today 
from DMV about the clerks writing residency letters for people seeking a 
driver's license!
