I am very relieved to hear this had a happy ending. Though I find it odd
that a bird could stay hidden in a house for a week, it is possible. Several
of mine are quite comfortable and will go off exploring on their own,
usually absolutely silently!
If anyone loses or finds an escaped bird - save this website address!
(it might make for one of those happy ending stories!)
