Larry,
If you have the time, I would strongly recommend that you move your data
to your new machine and re-install your software. It's a perfect
opportunity to start with a pristine operating system rather than
re-introducing a bloated registry and other possible, potential hidden
problems. This is especially true if you install a lot of applications
and muck around with your system.
