Try Vcon http://vncon.chronetal.co.uk/. It is a free open source
program that allows you to monitor multiple computers from one desktop.
It works with vnc which is also free. I love it as a tech person
because I will occasionally check in on the what the students are doing in
the lab. Or i can take over a computer from even a different school and
fix something simple. It allows for multiple groups to be set up, so for
proctor i have one for each lab.
Never had a problem with performance, just a little flicker while
