This Thursday evening, Nov. 16, the Green Mountain Audubon Society is
sponsoring a program entitled Talking Turkey. Doug Blodgett, a biologist with the
VT Dept. of Fish and Wildlife, will present this Thanksgiving-appropriate
program starting at 7 PM in the Carpenter-Carse Library in Hinesburg. Doug's talk
will help explain the remarkable resurgence of Wild Turkeys in Vermont.
Believe me, there is more to turkeys than Thanksgiving dinner.
