The $1000 - $2000 for programming includes the cost of printing the ballots.
It all comes on one invoice. The $175 maintenance fee is worth it. Never
had to use it until this year. I opened the Accuvote machine to test the
ballots just before the election and noticed that the battery had leaked.
First time in over 10 years that we'd had any problem. I called LHS and
they overnighted me a new machine and had mine fixed and returned prior to
the day of the election. So I had two machines in my office the day of the
election! Great service. Hope this helps.
