The easiest way to leave any UVM list is to go to 
http://list.uvm.edu/archives/name-of-the-list.html where 
name-of-the-list is the name of the list you want to unsubscribe from. 
For example, to unsubscribe from this blogging list go to:
http://list.uvm.edu/archives/blogging.html

Once there, you will see several items, including: "Join or leave the 
list (or change settings) 
<http://list.uvm.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=blogging&A=1>"

Click on that one and you will see a screen that lets you leave the 
list, or change your settings. Enter your name and e-mail address where 
indicated. If you actually have several e-mail addresses, make sure you 
enter the e-mail address under which you subscribed. Click "Leave 
name-of-the-list", In this case it will say "Leave BLOGGING."

Any time you want to come back to this list, or anytime you want to 
subscribe to lists at UVM, go to http;//list.uvm.edu/archives which will 
bring you to a list of all public UVM lists. Scroll to find the list you 
are interested in subscribing to, click on it, and click on the "Join or 
leave" command.
