We should definitely be involved with E-week, but I don't think that
we will go to the Vermont Air National Guard hangar as a group. It is
during the day and we would need to miss class. I really cannot miss
class at all, I feel so behind if I do. I know a lot of engineers
that feel the same way.
I can forward it to the listserv and if anyone does not have class
or wants to go, they can contact Dawn and go as a big group of
volunteers; instead of as a club.
I emailed ewb-usa about a project and they said that we would not
be able to apply for a project until after we go to the international
conference april 11th. So until then the only thing that we can do is
discuss fundraising. I emailed ewb-usa about buying organic fairtrade
coffee to sell and fundraise; I have not heard back. I also asked
them if they knew of someone in the area affiliated with ewb-usa that
could come to speak to our group; no response. Another girl in
ewb-uvm, katelyn, is trying to contact nearby student chapters that we
could work with. Clarkson is also very new like us and need help as
well and we have not heard back from ewb-unh. I am kind of lost for
ideas and I need some help. I really want the next meeting to have
something affiliated with ewb-usa directly. Should we have a meeting
the last week in January or wait until february?
Thanks for your input
