I just got an email from someone in our front office asking if any school
in our su has set up the new VILN.   I have not, because while it was
working, the amount of space, and internal scheduling hassles far
overshadowed the benefit.   When it did get used it was mostly by the
administration for meetings, and even that was a hassle for everyone
involved to come to a school and re-figure out how to use it.  (I got
called to every one to set it up).

I like the concept of interactive meetings, and I have attended several
using WebEx or netmeeting.   I am making the suggestion to the state to
maybe set up a state wide WebEx opposed to or in addition to the VILN,
especially for meetings.

Last year I also had a student who used Netmeeting to communicate with
fellow students in Germany.  In that case only audio and chatting was
enabled but It was one of the best uses of technology I have seen.
