A lot of inquiries regarding the Moose Bog report prompt me to post answers  
to commonly asked questions.    I hope this is useful...
 
As of Sunday, the So America Pond road was OPEN (plowed).   There  is a small 
parking - room for 4-5 cars- area cleared just 75 yards before the  trail 
into Moose Bog.     The trail itself has been packed  by showshoers, so there is 
no need for snow shoes (although they won't hurt), at  least until the next 
snowfall.   
 
The 3-Toed WP was seen near the BEAVER LODGE.     To  get there, take any one 
of the first three showshoe trails heading left  from the Moose Bog trail, 
down to the frozen flowage.   Turn right at  the bottom (just follow the 
showshoe tracks) and walk until you get to the  beaver lodge.
