Despite cold and windy conditions, the Lake yielded some good birds on
Sunday. Among those were:
1 - LONG-TAILED DUCK keeping company with Common Goldeneye, from
1- BARROW's GOLDENEYE, ditto
2 - HARLEQUIN DUCKS, one adult male and one juvenile male (as reported
by A. Strong)
6 - BALD EAGLES at Ft. Cassin Pt., including two juveniles.
As for the more terrestrial species....
1 - NORTHERN GOSHAWK on Converse Bay Rd.
100+ mixed Flock of SNOW BUNTING, HORNED LARK & LAPLAND LONGSPUR at
Little Chicago & Walker Rd., Ferrisburgh
