Saturday 2/11 late morning at Button Bay

Most  of the Bay was frozen, but there was open water out by the point.  As
I was walking out I found a HERMIT THRUSH mixed in with the robins feeding
along the trail.

 

On the lake over about a half-hour I saw the following:

Black Ducks – 20

Mallards – 2

GADWALL – 2

Hooded Merganser – 2

Common Merganser – 22

Common Goldeneye- 20

Bald Eagle – 2

American Crow – 1

Ring-billed Gull ~ 10

Herring Gull - 1
