In case you missed it, last week (Feb. 9) in a Burlington Free Press article
about Carolina Wrens Kent McFarland wrote " [Carolina Wrens] are not fond
of seeds from your feeder, but they will occasionally come to a suet
feeder...during extreme winter weather." My impression has been that these wrens will
take sunflower hearts on occasion as well as suet. Hence, my question,
