I finally caught up with the Barnacle goose this afternoon. When i arrived at riverview drive Chris Petrak was already there searching through the thousands of geese in the field. Then after about 25 minutes the geese took flight and I was able to locate the Barnacle in flight. After the geese landed we were able to relocate the bird and get some identifiable photos. The ice above the dam, and along the CT river, is melting fast so i would suspect the geese will move on any day. Good birding.Taj SchottlandPutney, [log in to unmask] [log in to unmask] bumperstickers for sale! "so many birds so little time" ...........&......... "I'd rather be birding". For more info email me!
