Hi Everyone,

I don't know if this new meeting time is working out conveniently for
everyone, as we've had to cancel the last two weeks because not enough
people have attended. However, as far as I know, the soup and bake
sale in front of the library is still on for this Friday (4/6) from
11:30 to 2:30. But not enough people have signed up to work the
table. This is what it looks like so far.

11:30 setup Theresa
12:00 no one
12:30 Bill
1:00 Bill
1:30 Rachael, Aram, Bill
2:00 Rachael, Aram, Bill, Theresa
2:30 break-down Rachael, Aram, Bill

As you can see, we need a couple more than just four people to help
out. The sign up sheet is tacked on the MENC bulletin board in the
lobby. PLEASE sign up for at least one time slot, it's only a half
hour of your time. It would be good to have at least two people on
each time, just in case it gets busy and to keep each other company.
Also, I don't know the details of making/buying the soup (Sasha, do
you have the plans?), but the only people signed up to bring baked
goods are Bill and me, so... Sign up or this sale is not going to
happen!!!
I know it's not the most exciting event of your day, but if you want
to do things that make use of MENC money next year, it's only fair
that you put in the effort to help raise those funds. Also, please
make the effort to attend our meetings (it's only 30 minutes a week).
The year is not over just because we went to the Hartford Convention.
Remember that if we want to go to Milwalkee next year, it's gonna be a
hefty investment, so we need to start fundraising and planning now.
If the new meeting time is not working out, can we please let the
group know so that we can schedule accordingly for more people to
come? I thought that since most people were in Concert Band, it would
be convenient. But if it is not, let's figure something else out so
we can actually HAVE a meeting. I don't want to forfeit my only
social time again for another cancellation.

OK, that's it from me. Have a great night!
