Sorry to bother everyone again. This is just a reminder to all those whom
have yet to respond to the Vermont Municipal GIS Awareness/Use Survey. So
far we've had over 65 municipalities respond. The survey can be found at
www.vcgi.org/msurvey. Below is the message that was sent last week:
Greetings from the Vermont Center for Geographic Information! VCGI is a
public non-profit that provides public digital mapping data for free and
answers your questions about computer mapping, hiring mapping
consultants, and where to find more resources.
We are conducting a survey of VT municipalities to learn more about
their awareness and/or use of GIS technology (computer mapping) during
the spring of 2007
Our goal is to have 100% response to this survey (one per town) so that
we can better gauge how to serve the municipalities of Vermont. Please
notify all those within your town office who might best reply to this
survey (we may have sent emails to more than one person in your town
office).
The survey is also posted at this web page:
www.vcgi.org/msurvey
We will be calling each town that hasn't responded starting on March
29. We look forward to talking with you if you don't have a chance to
send in your responses before then!
Any questions concerning this survey can be referred to either Leslie
Pelch ([log in to unmask], 882-3002) or Taylor Newton ([log in to unmask],
882-3005).
Thanks ahead of time for taking a few moments to help us serve you better!
Also, thanks to all the municipalities that have sent back their surveys
thus far!
