I could see a regular XP box hosting IIS for a web server just for our
internal calendar ...
Right now, we use a personal webserver (that's right - Windows 98) which
gets updated by MS Outlook users by saving as a webpage. 2 small calendars
for transportation, and for school events.
As long as users remember to update, the 2 calendars stays current. What's
unfortunate is that there is no integration with our organization's webpage.
I certainly like the price !

I use http://www.calendarscript.com/ at proctor. It requires a
webserver, and a little bit more tech knowledge. But It has been a great
addition at proctor. I even got it to automatically put the upcoming
events on our homepage. http://www.proctorhs.org/
