Hi Bill,
I haven't set up a listserve myself. We looked into it several years ago when I was at MMU. At that time there didn't seem to be much in the way of free software.
An internal usenet server could serve a similar purpose and there are several Linux distributions with usenet servers built in.

Would anyone have advice about hosting a listserv internally ?
We will have about 20 - 25 teachers/staff who will be discussing vocational
topics.
We do not host our web page or email.
Perhaps some good "discussion" software ... Is blogging better ?
Just looking for the easiest/inexpensive solution besides email for people
to discuss a common topic...
Many thanks,
Bill Clark, Austine School for the Deaf
